So lately I have heard that being gay is a choice. I have also heard that being gay is a sin. My outlook on this that you are born this way. I also believe that if you are lucky enough and find someone that you love and that loves you back that what should it matter what sex they are. Love is love be it with a man or woman. Once you find that love you should grab a hold of it and hold on to it. You should live in it's embrace. If you fall for someone of the same sex then I say good for you. If you embrace that love then I say kudos for you. You are very brave. People that loves someone of the same sex are very courageous. They are courageous because they are not conforming to the mold that the “we” have put into our minds. Everyone should strive to be a “ I”. You should strive to be your own person with your own beliefs and ideas. Those ideas and beliefs are yours and yours alone. If people do not see it your way then leave them to their own ideas and beliefs. Don't force them on people. Live and let live. It's people out there that try to force their beliefs on others by beating, name calling, and judging them. People should understand that you have to treat others like you want to be treated. I know I don't want to be beat, called names. do you? Everyone is entitled to love and to be loved back no matter who the other person is. William Shakespeare was right when he said “ to thine own self be true.” if you know you are gay then be brave and embrace the real you not the you that your family and friends. Don't be one of these people that hide who they are and cheat on your spouse. Cheating is cheating be it with a man or a woman. You should be honest with yourself. If you are one of these people that are hiding it then talk with your partner/spouse. Even if it's to say “ honey I think I am gay.” talk it over with them. Maybe they will understand and let you explore your feelings. If you are honest and upfront with them yes there are going to be hurt feelings and tears and maybe even name calling. At least you are honest with them and your self. Maybe just maybe once they have thought about it and they still love you they'll agree to a open relationship. Where as long as you follow certain rules you both agree on you can be with other people. Just be honest and upfront with your self and others. I am bi I like the boys and the girls. I believe that if god sends someone into your life to love and love you back then who am I to say no just because they are of the same sex. Who are we to tell god that he's wrong by sending someone of the same sex into my life to love me and for me to love back. If god sends extra money into your life you embrace it, if he sends you good things you embrace it why not embrace that love he sends you no matter who it is. Love is special and if you have had the great luck of being embraced by love then you know that once you look into the face of love your really looking into the face of god or whatever god/goddess you believe in. love is something that one should embrace and have the courage to love freely no matter what others say. Love freely, bravely, and openly because love is the building blocks that we need to have to be a good person. So thank you for reading my rant. It just makes me so mad when bigoted narrow minded people open their mouths with out thinking (oh wait I am assuming they have brains to think with.). People like that need to learn to use what ever small brains they have before they talk. Remember people really need to live and let live. They also should need to think for them self. I say if you don't like what you see then don't look, if you don't like what you hear don't listen, if you do not have anything nice to say don't talk.
